Snakes on a Plane!!!
We just got back from watching the best movie of 2006, "Snakes on a Plane." :)
I went with the kid, my sis and nephew, and my co-worker, Richard. Richard, the kid, and I had gone to Famous Dave's for some finger-lickin' good ribs, soup, potatoes and burgers. Oh, yeah, I think I had a Very Berry Margarita too. :)
Went and bought our tickets at the Mall, walked around the mall for a bit so the kid could do a bit more shopping. Then, we had to wait an hour til the movie would begin. Oh yeah, Starbucks too.
The movie begun at 10:00 pm, so we entered the theater about 9:40. No big crowd then, maybe about a dozen folks, so I'm wondering if there was a bigger one for the midnight show, and wonder how many showed up in Calexico. There was one other person with a Comic Con SoaP shirt :D and a few had on the ones from Hot Topic.
The previews were mostly for scarry movies, like Chainsaw Massacre....and others I can't remember. The movie finally started and we were hyped, cheering when SLJ's name came onto the screen. :) Lots of cheering, "woohoos," and such throughout the movie.
It was scary, it was funny, it was good. :) I've told the kid she'll have to tell some of her friends about it so that we can go see it again Friday night.
"I'm tired of these mutha** snakes on this mutha** plane!" :) Lots of cheering at this line too.
