Superhero news

X-men:
A 7 minute video of the new X-men movie

Superman:
First chapter of "Superman Returns" book:
“Even in the face of our deaths, the richness of our lives will be yours. All that I have, all that I have learned, everything I feel, all this and more I bequeath you, my son. You will carry me inside you all the days of your life. You will make my strength your own. See my life through your eyes as your life will be seen through mine. The son becomes the father, and the father, the son. This is all I can send you, Kal-El.”

I sooooooo cannot wait til this movie opens. June 30th

Fanestil book signing

Today, from 5 to 7:00 pm
Methodist Church in El Centro
Fellowship Hall

The pastor of my old church in Calexico, John Fanestil, wrote a book, "Mrs. Hunter's Happy Death" and will be doing a book signing today.

Purple Party

Oh, yeah, by the way...

I wasn't one of the winners of Prince's Purple Ticket contest, to attend a private concert for friends and winners. :( It was this past Saturday.

From Entertainment Tonight: "On Saturday, the eclectic entertainer performed an intimate gig at his own Hollywood Hills home (!) for 50 of his very lucky fans, and our KEVIN FRAZIER was there to catch all the excitement. Those given access to the show were the handful of fans from around the world who found [purple] tickets (á la Willy Wonka) inside their new Prince CDs! The winners danced the night away among a very select list of Hollywood stars, including JUDE LAW, SHARON STONE, BRUCE WILLIS and DAVID DUCHOVNY."

Pictures available at http://www.npgmusicclub.com/members/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140065

If I remember correctly, not many tickets were found, but several fans from around the world were there. :)

Oh, yeah, another thing...

I won't be going to Vegas at the end of the month to see him perform for two days. Can you believe tickets were $312.01???

Stroking GB's cheek

Haha, no, I'm not rubbing the G-man's cheek...though that might happen
later. ;) *le-sigh*

This picture was sent to me by a Colorado fan who remembered me and my
Leno story. I hadn't seen it before, so it was a wonderful surprise to
receive in my inbox.

Mood? Happy! :)

Success

Eric had a succesful liver transplant!! Praise God!! :)

If you don't know...which you probably don't, Eric is my pastor's husband and he's been pretty sick for a while. He finally had his transplant on Tuesday of last week up in SD, is doing well, and is going to begin recup-ing at home tomorrow. :)

Baby shower

We had a wonderful time up in San Diego on Saturday at Lex's house for Kisha's baby shower. We took off early Sat morning, got there in time to start decorating. People began arriving - nearly on time - with the Zamudio aunts getting the prize for being the first to arrive. Becky,
Margaret, and Rosie came next.

I took lots of pics, so visit my Flickr page....oh wait, you can only see them if you're a Friend or Family. So join! :)
