scary movies
My daughter enjoys going to the movies with her friends and they all enjoy having me there with them, chaperoning for the night. I don’t know how I keep getting volunteered for the job, but there you go.

V for Vendetta
What a kick ass movie!! What was that description I read - "Phantom of the Opera" meets "1984"? Yup! Plus "The Matrix" and and and something else I can't think of now (ohhhh, I want a Mountain Dew sooo bad!)
I saw it last week, the 24th, with Kay and a bunch of her friends. My co-worker had warned me about certain "huh?!" parts that we wouldn't quite catch, like the whole "Voila! VVVVVVV" speech. Anyway, that same weekend, I was shopping at Target and ran across the little screen adaptation paperback. We bought it and looked for the speech. Awesome! I read it, but Kay could act it out. :)
So we watched it again this past Friday, the 31st. Now I've got to read the comics. wOOt!
Phantom in Vegas

Tickets for the new Phantom of the Opera show are now on sale for the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
http://www.venetian.com/phantom
Tickets go on sale on April 9th, so start making plans for Vegas, baby! :)
However, if you are a member of the Really Useful Group www.reallyusefulgroup.com then the presale began last week. The shows run begin in June and should run for the rest of the year. Tickets start at about $74 to $150 per seat.
Purses
Yeah, totally my thing. ;)
Although, I'll admit. I bought a bag at Mervyns this weekend. But it TOTALLY is a bag NOT a purse, 'k??
