Crash!
So, my brother was sitting at home Tuesday night, watching TV, when all of a sudden there was a loud crash.

The corner of the house was crushed (hard to see in the pics). My brother says you can see inside the house from the outside. ---Insurance people are showing up today.
Here's a before picture of his house (Thanksgiving weekend), which recently went through a neighborhood beautification project. The house was featured on the front page of the local newsletter. You see, the whole neighborhood had come together this fall, painting & building fences, fixing roofs in preparation of the brand new elementary school that is being built across the street. The neighborhood received a grant to "fix up the place" so that kids had nice homes to walk by on the way to school.

He immediately called the police, secured his dog, and went outside. There was no driver in the car.

One of the neighborhood kids shouted out to him, "she ran that way! My mom went after her!" The driver was a young girl, who was detained a few blocks away by the mom. :) The police quickly came and stuck her in the back of their car, but she was taken away by the ambulance, claiming injury. No word yet about her or her condition while driving.
