The Purple Ticket
Reminiscent of Willie Wonka, Prince started a "win a purple ticket" contest. The prize? Win a private concert at his HOME sometime later this spring. Cool huh?
I entered the contest today. Wanna enter too? :) If you win, you have to promise to "Take Me with u"! :)
I entered by buying the songs from iTunes, but you can enter by sending in a postcard.
HOW TO ENTER SWEEPSTAKES FOR FREE BY MAIL: To enter for free by mail, hand print your name, street address, daytime telephone number, age and (if applicable) e-mail address on a postcard only and mail the completed postcard entry to:

SHERMAN OAKS, CA 91413
(“Mail-in entry”). ANY ENVELOPE ENTRIES SUBMITTED WILL BE DEEMED INELIGIBLE AND WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DESTROYED WITHOUT OPENING. ALL MAIL-IN ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY 3/21/06 AND RECEIVED BY 3/28/06.

i entered this and told my best friend. he said it sounded like it would be awesome if we won.
i then had to inform him, "um. yeah. if i won, i wouldn't be taking you. i'd have to take my cousin cindy."
