The circus
My niece got tickets for her family to the "Greatest Show on Earth" at the
Sports Arena in SD. Kayla and I went with them, but couldn't get seats
down on the lower level. But that was okay with me...I didn't
want to be too close to the clowns. ;)
I'd never been to a big 3-ring circus before. Kayla has been bugging me
for years to take her to them when they appear here at the K-mart
parking lot. :) We went once. Years ago. Got suckered in by the "Kids
get in for $2" but adults got charged around $15. What can you do then,
when your little child is looking up at you with those big eyes, waiting
for her cotton candy and close up view of elephants you'd been promising
her all day???? Dang lions and tigers were so thin you could see their
ribs...but I digress.
We had fun. Music, acrobats, animals, danger, and caramel apples. Yum!
